The French Government offers Eiffel Scholarship for oustanding students. But this support is open exclusively to Autumn applicants, as the application is to be sent by Mines Albi end of December/very beginning of January.
Every year, the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs allocates a large number of grants to international students pursuing master studies in France. Use Campus France website to learn more.
One or two merit based grants will be available for 1 or 2 deserving students of the master, to significantly reduce the tuition fees. All admitted students will be automatically candidate to this grant, results will be known by the month of May.
Financial assistance
Albi is a very affordable city compared to other cities in France (Paris, but also Toulouse or Nantes) or in Europe. A campus Restaurant is opened all over the year for lunch and during semesters for dinner. A sponsored students’ meal costs about €3.5. Individual furnished studio apartments are available for international students during their stay. The residences are on the school campus or in downtown Albi and offer comfort and facilities to the students. Accommodation costs about €350 per month. All students from Mines Albi benefits from a monthly financial assistance from the French government to help them pay their accommodation. Usually, the grant covers 45% of the accomodation expenses. Assuming campus food & accommodation, the total living expenses should not exceed 6 000€ per year.
With a student visa, you will have the possibility to have a part time job in France. However, keep in mind that you will have to focus on your studies first! In addition, the 4th semester of the master is dedicated to a paid internship (if done in France).
