Master Biomass and Waste for Energy and Materials

Master Biomass and Waste for Energy and Materials

Admission requirements

The BiWEM master program welcomes applications from young and motivated candidates of all nationalities holding a University degree of at least three years (ie a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree or equivalent). We do the selection by considering both the grades and the motivation. We are aiming for the top ten students but we would consider candidates with GPA higher than 3.2 provided that they have a vision and a true professional project.

The program is a complete education in chemical engineering therefore admissions are open to candidates from various fields of study (preferentially Chemical Engineering but also Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Clean Technology…) with little or no professional experience. We will consider applicants with ‘non-relevant’ degrees, providing they can demonstrate some relevant experience and a genuine interest in the course they are applying for. However, even if we offer the opportunity to catch up during the first semester, it will be tough for people not having the backgroung.

Participants with some industrial experience are also welcome.

All applicants are required to take one of the following English tests: TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, IELTS or Cambridge CEA.

This test is waived only for:

  • English natives
  • Students who have earned a degree from an institution in which all instruction is conducted in English. The official language of the degree program has to be stated in the transcript of records or in the degree certificate or its supplement.
